Sociocultural Strategies for The Prevention of Social Orphanhood (Based on Research Materials)

The article presents the results of a sociological study devoted to the diagnosis of the causes of social orphanhood as an abnormal phenomenon and the result of the crisis and loss of traditional values. The study found that respondents associate the spread of social orphanhood with such phenomena as "dysfunction of the family institution", "loss of traditional modern values", "decline in living standards", "deviant behavior of family members". Socio-cultural strategies for the prevention of social orphanhood include systematic work on the prevention of social orphanhood, the introduction of innovative organizational, psychological, pedagogical, socio-cultural technologies, comprehensive socio-economic and socio-cultural support for motherhood and childhood.
