Organization of Social Work with Families Raising Children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders

This article examines modern approaches to organizing social work with families raising children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in Kazakhstan. It analyzes the socio-psychological characteristics of these families and the challenges they face in social adaptation. The article also discusses the need for social support from various institutions, including education, social protection, and healthcare. The article outlines the key principles and models of psychological, pedagogical, and social support used in Kazakhstan and other countries. It provides examples of interdepartmental cooperation between various organizations in helping families raise children with ASD. Special attention is paid to early intervention, inclusive education, and psychological support for parents. In conclusion, the article emphasizes the importance of a comprehensive approach to supporting families raising children with ASD in Kazakhstan. The article calls for the development of a network of specialized centers that provide comprehensive support and services for these families.
