About the Journal

The “Research Results in Social Work” journal has been founded and will be published by federal state autonomous educational institution of higher education “Belgorod State National Research University” (NRU “BelSU”).

The Journal is an online edition.

A Unique ID will be provided for each article published in the journal.

Purpose and scope: the journal is aimed at establishing a permanent professional discussion site that will become a communication and experience exchange tool for scholars and practitioners sharing common scientific and professional interests in the area of social work, and for beneficiaries of social services. It will also provide access to up-to-date information on research into theory and practice of social work, active ageing, and health preservation.

The preferential focus of the journal is on research articles that are of interest to Russian and international scientific communities and are based on the results of theoretical and practice-oriented research into social work and active ageing.

The opportunity to develop and implement further professional training programs based on research findings and prepared in cooperation with the authors of the journal will be especially valuable for the scientific and professional community.

The Editorial Board welcomes video and audio materials of research, excerpts of the authors’ speeches on issues touched upon in the articles or connected with their topics, presentations, and photo series to be provided alongside the articles.

  • Theory and practice of social work;
  • Social welfare, active ageing, and preservation of people’s health;
  • Innovative social services and technologies in social work.

The target audience of journal includes readers in Russia and worldwide. The materials are published in Russian (provided with an abstract in English), or in English (with an abstract in Russian).

The journal pursues an interdisciplinary approach to exposing issues of social work and population welfare provision (Sociology, Healthcare, Recreational and Adaptive physical training), and is focused on developing a community of practitioners working at active ageing challenges.

The journal website contains multimedia products aimed at involving wider audiences, promoting active ageing practices and research findings (podcasts, interviews with authors, advertisements of scientific and educational events).

The journal platform allows to develop and to promote innovative social services and technologies, unique educational products in the field of social work and active ageing based on research findings.

Journal periodicity: 4 times a year, once in 3 months (March, June, September, and December) since 2022.
